The purpose of the Lyon County Law Library (LCLL) is to provide legal information support to attorney members of the LCLL. Physical access is available to library members during courthouse hours - typically, 8-5 Mon - Fri.

Public access is available Wed & Thurs mornings from 9 to noon, or by appointment - call or email to make arrangements. The librarian is on-site Wed & Thursday mornings, Thursday afternoon and other times by appointment.

Online databases available onsite include HeinOnline, Kansas.gov, Lexis, Loislaw and Westlaw.

Checkout Policy
Full checkout privileges are limited to attorney members of the law library. Checkout privileges for the public are limited to the NOLO books.

Lyon County Law Library

May CLE - Ethics

Stanton A. Hazlett, Kansas Disciplinary Administrator, will be our featured speaker at this event, scheduled for Wed, May 16 from 11 am to 1pm in the jury assembly room, Lyon County Courthouse. Two hours of Ethics CLE credit have been approved. The cost is $25, which covers a box lunch and print materials. Download the printable registration form here. Completed forms and payment are due by Wed, May 9.

July CLE - Representing Our Kansas Military Clients

Maj Alma Whitelaw, Kansas National Guard JAG, will be our presenter Wed, July 17 from 11 am to 1 pm in the jury assembly room, Lyon County Courthouse. Although this is a free event, we ask that you RSVP so we can have an accurate head count for lunch.
