Choosing to act as your own attorney should not be undertaken lightly. Before you make that decision, please explore what will be expected of you by the Court, including the many details that you will be responsible for. A good place to start is the Kansas Court System's Self-Help Center.

Kansas Bar Association - Ask an Attorney
Kansans can ask up to three questions a year. They will need to answer a few questions to see if they qualify (income guidelines).
Please note that legal forms are not like tax forms issued by the state or federal government. These sites offer a limited number of forms. Other forms are written by attorneys on a case-by-case basis. While you may want to use a previously filed form as an example, you are responsible for ensuring that its format is acceptable to the court, and that you are following the latest Kansas statutes.
